Processs Esay Reflection

To begin writing this piece, I reviewed my think-aloud protocol. This led me to think about my difficulties and other problems with my writing . After a minute or two of thinking, I thought about what my introduction would be. I thought the easiest way to do this would be to place my writing skill in context. After that, the rest of my essay's order was dependent on what I thought about first, therefore I thought the transitions might not be perfect.

Some problems I faced while I wrote this essay include how I couldn't think of my writing process very since I usually don't put much thought into how I do it. I figured the best way to solve this issue was to go back to my Literacy Narrative essay and review what I was thinking while I wrote it. This led to more positive results since I listened to my think-aloud protocol while doing it. This gave me quite some insight into my writing process and made it quite easier to continue my writing until the end.

I mostly got positive feedback on this essay, considering my peers gave me 2 A's and a B. They all still gave me a few pointers on how to improve, even though they agreed it had been a good essay. The main agreement they had, however was that I had to add how I could improve my writing.

For this assignment, it was necessary to know vocabulary from Sondra Perl and Mike Rose's writing. This helped with explaining the kind of rules I use in my writing, such as heuristics or algorithms. This also meant I had to be familiar with the kinds of views I used in my writing (in my case, egocentric). To use this in my writing, I had to understand what their studies had led to and what each process I went through meant for my writing.
